yourSRI Transparent label

What stands behind the label?

yourSRI was originally launched in 2011, as a pioneer for ESG & Carbon Fund Screenings. In 2016 yourSRI has launched an independent transparency label for funds, which provides an independent source of information on the ESG and/or Climate characteristics of the investments.

The ratings, which form the basis of the label, are based on a quantitative analysis and a fully automated process. This label has a highest rating up to five diamonds and is granted for one year.

What are the key points of the label?
Key points
Disclosure of the sustainability criteria for the award of the label

A fund is evaluated through a scoring methodology based on two criteria: ESG score from Thomson Reuters/Lipper and carbon footprint. At least 60% of the portfolio needs to be covered based on ESG or Carbon issues.

Key points
Independence of the organization awarding the label

yourSRI.com platform is owned by FE fundinfo, a global fund data and technology provider. Furthermore, yourSRI is sponsored by five companies and organizations (Liechtensteinische Landesbank AG, Thomson Reuters, MSCI ESG Research Products and Services, Vontobel and HSBC Global Asset Management).

Key points
Multiple-step process when the label is awarded by a number of parties

The labelling process consists of a fully automatic screening through data from Thomson Reuters/Lipper, MSCI ESG Research and the ISS-Ethix.

Which financial products are evaluated with it?

Since 2015, yourSRI screens more than 15.000 billion Euros of ESG or Carbon exposure daily. The label is awarded to publicly traded mutual funds and exchange-traded funds. However, no public information of awarded products is available. Users can register to have a portfolio screen.
